What to expect
- Corrections. We aim to acknowledge within five working days. If a claim on the site is wrong we fix it and, for anything material, add a dated note saying what changed. The procedure is set out in the editorial policy.
- Data protection requests. We reply within one month, as Article 12(3) GDPR requires. Note that for an ordinary visit we hold nothing that identifies you beyond a short-lived server log entry.
- Advertising enquiries. Welcome, but they are handled separately from editorial and confer no influence over what is written. See the advertising disclosure.
Why no form?
A contact form is a data collection point: it needs a script, it transmits what you type to a server, and it usually needs anti-spam tooling that loads third-party code and sets cookies. All three would contradict what the cookie policy says about this site. An email address does the same job and leaves you in control of what you send and from where.
